The recipient will receive the e-Gift Card via email instantly upon payment completion. You also will receive a copy of the e-Gift Card into your mail box which you may choose to forward to ensure the e-Gift Card email from our system didn't went to recipients spam folder.

The activation takes place upon payment online. The minimum and maximum activation amounts for online purchase of e-gift card are as follow: min £5 max £500

Gift cards and e-gift cards can only be redeemed at Formosan Tea Bar, Oxford OX1 4DF in the United Kingdom. They may be used to purchase goods of a higher price than the amount on the card, on payment of the difference. Cannot be exchanged for cash or used to pay for online products and services or to buy another gift card or e-gift card. A maximum of two gift cards or e-gift cards (or a combination) can be redeemed in one transaction. If any item purchased with a gift card or e-gift card is subsequently exchanged for an item of a lower price or refunded, any money owing will be added to the remaining balance on the card. If you do not spend the entire balance on the gift card / e-gift card, the remaining balance will be updated after each transaction

E-Gift cards are valid for the period of 12 months from the date of issue. Any remaining balance will be cancelled on expiry of the validity period. Balance enquiries can be obtained online. E-Gift cards should be treated as cash; they are not cheque guarantee, credit or charge cards. Formosan will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged cards.

Cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your statutory rights. Under the Regulations, (as outlined above), if you are contracting with us as a consumer online, you have the right to cancel your order for e-gift card at any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you place your order, provided none of the balance has been spent. Formosan reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of e-gift cards at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the card, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your statutory rights.
